Milo Turns Two
We had a dinosaur party at the park with the cousins.
Milo and Fisher, these two are best friends now and have so much fun together.
Milo's new bike helmet he was so proud of himself.
He would have been perfectly happy with just the helmet but of course
got way too spoiled and had plenty of other presents to open.
I wanted to do something special for Milo for his birthday so I crocheted him this dinosaur.
Thankfully he loves it because it was A LOT of work!
Modeling his new boot's and hat just like grandpa's!
Happy Birthday Little Dude, We Love You!

Easter
We had a great Easter, in spite of the snow! I was dreaming of getting really great pictures of Milo running through the grass in his cute little shorts with all the colors of spring in the background, gathering eggs, but the weather didn't want to cooperate! It was still a fun weekend with the Welker's in town. Here are a few pics from the weekend.

Kite
It finally warmed up enough to go to the park.
Milo got a new kite from Grandma Cheryl so we decided to take it out for a spin. Milo loved it!
Bring on Spring!!

DINOSAURS!
Milo is all about dinosaurs these days. He usually insists on wearing something with a dinosaur on it and stomps around the house roaring. He loves watching dinosaur movies. He likes the really life like ones from the discovery channel, we thought maybe they would be too scary for him but he loves them.
We took him to Thanksgiving Point's Dinosaur Museum and he LOVED it.

Milo is at such a fun age right now. He is really starting to talk and communicate, even if Cody and I are the only ones who understand. He is obsessed with dinosaurs right now and it is so cute. He stomps around the house with his arms up roaring. He doesn't say no but he can say "uh uh" with more attitude than you can believe. He also says "yeah!" with fierce enthusiasm, even when answering the simplest of questions. He has gotten to the point where we have to discipline him which isn't very fun. Our designated time-out spot is the top stair and he is actually doing really well with time-outs. This kid has a lot of attitude and is quite stubborn at times. Cody is convinced it comes from me which is probably true, I still have issues with admitting when I'm wrong and my mom says I would never apologize when I was little. But he can also be the sweetest thing ever. When he will actually hold still long enough to cuddle him it is the best thing in the world. Every time he says, "Tank to, mama" (Thank you, mama) it melts my heart.

Christmas Day
We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. We were able to spend time with our family's and relax. (Although we did miss the Welker's this year.)
Milo was so much fun this Christmas. He was able to unwrap all of his own presents and was so excited about everything he got. When we woke up on Christmas I handed Milo a present from under the tree to open. He opened it and was so excited. I handed him another one and he handed it back to me and said with a very serious look, "No mama, back." We had been telling him all month not to open the presents and leave them under the tree so he was a little confused!
Milo got this cute tractor from Aunt Arian on Christmas Eve and kept piling all of his other toys onto the trailer.
Luckily Santa brought him this dump truck that they could all fit in!
This is Milo's favorite hat, the dog bowl. Yes his hair does smell like dog breath.
Arian, our own personal Santa. She spoiled me with a new snowboard jacket, gloves, hat and a shirt. And Cody got new ski's. Now if we could just get out and use them!
