This kid

(Sneak peek from our photo shoot with the oh so talented Kenzie Scott)

This kid has the BEST imagination. It is rare that he is himself.
It's usually, "No, I'm Ironman." or Batman, Superman, Buzz Lightyear or Woody.
He also loves to pretend to be a dog, horse, dinosaur, or dragon.
His Halloween costume was worth every penny because he wears it almost daily.
When he pretends he gets into the character. At Halloween he referred to Cody and I as Jesse and Woody the entire night.
This morning he decided he was Fisher. All morning long he said, "I'm Fisher." and talked about himself in the third person. "Fisher wants to watch a movie. Fisher wants dinosaur nuggets." And of course I couldn't be mommy anymore because I'm not Fisher's mommy, so he called me Emily as long as the game continued. "Hey Emily, Fisher wants to play on the computer. Hey Emily, can you help me, I'm Fisher."
When he decides the game is over he will say, "No I not Fisher, I Momo J Finch."
Until he is ready to pretend again.
Love this kid.

Halloween

Wow, I am really slacking at this blog lately. I am going to blame it on school ;)
Here are a few pics of what we have been up to.

Cody and I were able to go and float West Water with some friends and some of Cody's family. It was beautiful and the weather was perfect! As much as I love Milo, I love getting to spend some adult time with Cody.

 Our camp
 Sunrise at camp

Cody's dad brought a motor so we were able to tie all the boats together and be pulled through the flat water at the end. I will never be able to do this river again without the motor!
Cody and I spent our anniversary (September, 25) in Park City in a friends condo and went biking the next day at Park City Resort.
Milo's dinosaur obsession continues! We took the kids to the museum.

Wow I can't believe it is almost September! This summer has flown by.  Summer for us can be summed up in a few words and a bunch of pictures. For me it can be summed up in pretty much one word: SCHOOL. I am just finishing my third semester of Nursing school which means I am on track to graduate next April, wahoo! For Cody it might take three words: work and rock climbing. Cody would like to spend every spare moment he has on his "rock climbing career" I keep telling him it's not a career unless you get paid for it but whatever. We did manage to squeeze in a few other things throughout the summer but not as many as we would have liked. Milo and I went to San Diego in June for Kye's baptism and spent some time with the Welker's.  We (well Cody and Dave) built a new deck. Milo learned to pedal his own bike. We also went to the West Fork twice and the Kendall Campout and enjoyed being with family, riding horses and just relaxing. I am sad to see summer go but I am looking forward to fall.

New Kitchen

It is amazing the difference that $40 dollars and 4 hours can make! Maclee came over to help me last week and we stained my cabinets. They turned out better then I even expected. Now I just have to get Cody on board for new countertops. Thanks Maclee!
