It's a .....

At around 18 weeks I went to my sisters work and she did an ultrasound on me with the machine there. Now neither one of  are ultrasound techs but we thought it would be fun to see the baby and maybe find out what the sex was. After about an hour of us trying to figure out the machine and where the baby was and what the heck are we looking at here we (or I should say Hayley) felt pretty confident that we saw three white lines which = girl. So I started to kind of think girly thoughts. But I wasn't going to go buy anything until I knew for sure. At my 20 week doctor appointment he said, "Do we want to know the gender?" I think I cut him off before he was even done asking, "YES!" So he looked around and the baby wasn't in the best position, legs crossed and very wiggly. So the doctor got all of the measurements and looked at everything else and left me with an, "I don't know. It's hard to tell. It could be a boy. Maybe. We will check again in a couple of months." WHAT!? Now I was really going crazy. So we went back to Hayley's work to see if we could figure anything out. We were a lot less confident this time and we couldn't tell. There was no way I could wait a couple of months to find out what this 'lil bugger is. So I finally talked Cody into going to the place in the mall. They were so nice and the guy who did the ultrasound was awesome. He kept saying, "Oh look at those lips. This baby has big lips." Almost as soon as he placed the monitor on my belly he was like, "Oh this is definitely a boy!" Cody was shocked. He had placed a lot of faith in Hayley and I :) Plus Milo has been saying all along that it was a girl.  We are so excited to have another boy and I think it will be so fun for Milo to have a brother. When we told Milo that it is a brother and not a sister in moms belly he said, "So I can be Spiderman and he can be the bad guys?!"
